2009 Revised Tournament Policies and ProceduresJPMGC Members, The Jefferson Park Golf course management is establishing new procedures on how we sign-up and pay for our tournaments. These new procedures will help ensure a low drop out rate. Below are the changes that will be implemented. Jefferson Park Golf will create a sign-up system that members can use to enter our tournaments. This system will allow you request times and group pairings. You may sign-up at the course, by phone or via fax. Green fees and entry fees are paid at time of sign-up. The sign-up deadline is the Wednesday before the tournament and the pairing sheet will be completed by 3 PM Thursday afternoon. Jefferson Park Golf will arrange the tournament paring and keep a copy of the pairing sheet on hand. You can call the golf course to check tee times. Jefferson Park Golf will leave on tee time (four spots) available for any walk-ons the day of the event. Jefferson Park Golf will post the entry fee as $50 before discounts, ($35 + $15). Premier card discounts are applied to green fees at the time of sign-up. The two-day Club Championship entry fee will be $90 before discounts, ($35 x 2 for green fees + $20 tournament fees). A member may cancel out of a tournament 48 hours before the event without losing his entry money. If a member cancels within 48 hours their fees will be carried to the next event they choose to sign-up for within the current tournament season. If a member does not cancel within the 48 hours of an event, he forfeits all fees paid (green fees & tournament fees). The Jefferson Park staff will provide scorecards, rules sheets and post winning to the credit book. Jefferson Park staff will put out KP and Long Drive markers for each tournament.
