Here is your invitation to join JPMGC or renew your membership for 2010. The
calendar may say it is still winter, but it is time to get the 2010 golf season
going.
One of the ways to maximize your golf season is by joining JPMGC. It is a great
way to get and/or maintain a USGA handicap, meet other golfers and take part in
a season’s worth of tournaments at Jefferson Park’s championship-quality 18-hole
course.
You can download a membership application using this link:
2010 Membership renewal
form.
Ten tournaments are scheduled for 2010, beginning with the Feb. 21st
Five-club tournament featuring Stableford scoring.
Membership in JPMGC includes a USGA handicap and membership in the
Pacific Northwest Golf Association (PNGA). As a PNGA member, you will be
supporting important local programs like the Evans Scholarships program
for caddies and local amateur championships throughout Washington and
other Northwest states. And you will receive discounted green fees at
the challenging Home Course in DuPont, as well as PNGA publications.
We would love to see increases in club membership and tournament signups
this season, and that where you come in. We urge you to encourage your
friends to join JPMGC and we would love to hear your ideas for making
the club more responsive to your ideas and concerns.
We will be continuing our Pace of Play policy for club events in 2010.
Members can enter an event knowing they have better than 50 percent
chance of cashing AND they will complete their round in just over four
hours!
With your help and participation, we can make 2010 the club’s best year
ever. Renew or sign up at once. Feel free to contact us at
jpmgc@jpmgc.net with questions,
suggestions or comments.
